Modular Fence Side Post Cover
The Greenwood Fence (GWF®) Side Post Cover is a matte black aluminum above-grade filler strip engineered to close off any unused side channel on the fence posts within the Modular Composite Fence and Gate System. Measuring 6.5 feet in length and profiled to fit the universal 13/16 inch wide by 7/16 inch deep side channel, the cover snaps into position for a clean, finished exterior wherever a panel is not installed. The 6.5-foot length serves residential fence design heights up to 6 feet and gives the builder design flexibility at the top of the run: the strip can terminate flush with the panel for a clean uniform top line, or extend the post slightly above the panel to articulate the vertical rhythm along the fence. The 13/16 inch channel size is consistent across both the 2-3/4 inch Standard Post and the 4-inch Commercial (HP) Post, so a single filler strip specification serves both fence post configurations; it does not apply to gate posts. Matte black powder-coated aluminum matches the standard black aluminum framing across the system, maintaining visual continuity along the fence line. Engineered in Addison, Illinois.
