The Greenwood Fence (GWF®) Aluminum Base Plate Cover is a matte black cast-aluminum trim piece engineered to conceal the surface-mount steel base plate at the bottom of the 4-inch Commercial (HP) Post within the Modular Composite Fence and Gate System. Manufactured from cast-mold aluminum with a matte black powder coat finish, the cover measures 6-1/2 inches square with a 4-inch center opening sized to the HP post. It installs over the base plate to hide the plate, the mounting anchors, and any exposed hardware, delivering a clean architectural transition from post to substrate. The 1-inch profile height sits low against the substrate for a discreet finished base that reads as intentional rather than functional. This cover is specific to the 4-inch Commercial (HP) Post; the 2-3/4 inch Standard Post uses a dedicated Standard base plate cover. Sold individually.
