Each year, FENCETECH brings together the brightest minds and most innovative brands in the fencing industry, and 2025 was no exception. Held at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, this year’s event showcased the future of fencing — from cutting-edge materials to emerging market trends. Greenwood Fence (GWF) was proud to exhibit and engage with industry leaders, contractors, and suppliers from across the country. We caught up with two key GWF team members, Michelle and Lisa, to hear firsthand about their experience, takeaways, and the growing buzz around composite and aluminum fencing.
Lisa Cassata, Wholesale Account Manager
What were the biggest trends in fencing that stood out to you at FenceTech 2025, and how do they align with Greenwood Fence’s vision for the future?
“One of the biggest trends was the interest in a low-maintenance fence. Contractors and homeowners are becoming more educated on composite and seeing the value it brings.”
Did you see any exciting innovations in composite or aluminum fencing that could impact the industry?
“There was a lot of buzz around modular systems. It’s become more popular than ever.”
How did Greenwood Fence’s presence at FenceTech help build relationships with contractors, suppliers, or other industry leaders?
“Our booth was perfectly located and gave us the opportunity to not only talk to contractors and business owners, but get our name out there. It was also a chance to meet face-to-face with contractors I’ve only known through email or over phone conversations. In my experience, there is nothing that builds and strengthens a business relationship than meeting in person.”
What challenges or concerns were discussed at the event that might affect the fencing industry in 2025 and beyond?
“What always stands out to me and is asked most frequently is lead time! Not only on materials but how long it takes to receive a quote. Having materials in stock to fill every order and a quick response is what we take pride in.”
Did you receive any feedback from contractors or attendees about Greenwood Fence that stood out to you?
“Several contractors and business owners said our system feels and looks more premium than other composites they’ve worked with, and a few were surprised by how easy it is to assemble once we went over the process.”
For those who couldn’t attend, what are the key takeaways from FenceTech 2025 that homeowners and contractors should know?
“The industry is always evolving, with a bigger interest in low maintenance fencing. Contractors are looking at systems that will help them work smarter, not harder. Composite has become the “IT Product ” in the fencing world with A LOT of ground to cover !”

“I think with with more creativity and design options available, it will open the door for those people who are looking for something outside of the norm when it comes to their Fencing purchase.”
How did Greenwood Fence’s presence at FenceTech help build relationships with contractors, suppliers, or other industry leaders?
“I think having a larger booth this year really allowed us to feature more of our products so that our contractors could really appreciate the full magnitude of our fence sections. It allowed us to include more fence designs as well as the overall exposure based upon our Amazing location.”
What challenges or concerns were discussed at the event that might affect the fencing industry in 2025 and beyond?
“The main topic of concern was the pricing of our product as well as others in the industry due to the tariffs.”

They also appreciated how much we take their feedback about our products and improve them in order to make their installations go smoother.”
For those who couldn’t attend, what are the key takeaways from FenceTech 2025 that homeowners and contractors should know?
“The key takeaways from Fencetech 2025 I feel that homeowners and contractors should know is that it is important to research the products and compare. Purchasing a fence today should be seen as an investment and with so many design options available you will be able to find one to meet your needs.”
